Dear Parents and Students,

Christmas is almost here!! I’d like to wish you all a happy holiday season and hope you have a terrific vacation with your families.

Since we have only 3 chapters left in our Mouse and Motorcycle book I have asked the children to finish it as they have time. They must have it finished after Christmas but if they finish before, they may test on it.

We will have our Christmas Program on Thursday this week. There will be performances at 1:00 and 6:45. Children may wear dressy clothing on Thursday or may bring something to change into at lunch if you prefer.

This week we will be tying up loose ends since the semester ends on Friday. The first half of the year has certainly gone by quickly. Report cards will come home the first week we are back after Christmas.

Religion—We will finish Unit 2 with a test on Tuesday and Wednesday.

In Math we will continue to work on Multiplication. We will have a quiz on Wed. on X2, X5, X10.

In Science we will finish up some small projects but will not start another chapter until next year.

Our Unit 2 test in Social Studies will be on Tuesday.

In Reading we will work on the story "Garden of Abdul Gasazi". Our story test will be on Thursday.

We will work on prefixes and start quotations in English.

Our spelling list this week contains homophones. These are words that sound alike but are spelled differently.
